Does anyone have or know where I can get a snorkle set up for an 87 K5 Blazer? I've tried ARB and Quadratec. No such luck. Any help would be appreciated!

There aren't any aftermarket kits. Your stuck with paying out the ass on a ARB, or make your own...most people choose the latter...

not to hijack a thread, but does anyone have a solution to sealing a snorkel setup to the top of a carb. I'm sure I could build a snorkel but the carb has me stumped for a doable solution.

I've been considering a cold air intake kit for a vehicle that still has a 5 1/8" flange but has an airbox. You can find them all over eBay for $50. It'll get you some tubing and some fittings to make it easier to pull the snorkle off your truck for working on it.

Would it be possible to modify the factory air cleaner housing to be watertight? I was thinking about this the other day. You could run a hose off the horn or take the horn off and make something to use in that hole or to cover it and modify another way. Just thinking out loud here...

This is what I have been tossin around for mine.
When I pulled the engine from the van it had a 4" spacer under the air cleaner.
I am going to braze a bar in the middle and bolt that to the carb then attach a tube to that, sorta like a dryer vent hose.
Cut a hole in the firewall and run it out of the speaker hole, along the dash and up the pillar to the roof. Still lookin into a filter.
K&N seems to be a good bet.
