I have been seeing some cell phone posts lately and an wondering if there is anyone out there that does not use one. Personally I have no use for one. My wife has one but I dint even know the number .. Shoot it is hard enough to remember my own land line number besides a bunch of other $hit. people say call me on their cell but WTF they ain't in the phone book.:dunno: i can never understand why people want to drive around with their finger in their ear. Seems too make life too complicated for me. I guess ignorance is bliss.:D

I had one until I joined the army and never got another one. I actually like not having one now.

Don't need a land line also. Keep the phone with me. But I pull over or don't answer while driving.

I have had a cellie for years, but over the past year and a half, I don't really use my personal cell phone all that much anymore.

My job provides me with a cell phone which I am supposed to carry with me 24/7.

IMO, cell phones are great to have for emergencies, but chatting it up in the car or listening to someone spew their personal life in the grocery store line isn't all that wonderful.

Technology is great within reason :)

ive got a cellphone. im not much of a talker on it as any that knows me will telll you that i rarely answer:haha:

it is nice to keep in touch or make plans with though. or if you get lost or someone is lost, its nice to just pull over and make contact.

i think the uses outweigh the hassles.

mine is always with me. Its awesome for someone who is forgetful like me. Never have to remember a friends number, always have it on hand. And when I go to the store for something I often end up being that guy standing at the end of the aisles going "**** what was I here for???" One quick call and I know. No guessing and getting the wrong crap, haha. I'm 20, my sister is 17, my mom is a workaholic, and my dad is just weird so they work great for us all staying in contact. When I lived out at school last year I didn't have a land line. had no use for one whatsoever. Whenever I move out of here I won't get a landline.

My wife and I both have phones and no land line at the house She use's hers all the time but Mine stays In the Ashtray of my Pickup most of the time. I hate Cellphones but they are convienant. Plus the Free long distance is Nice I usually call my folks on the weekend with mine and it makes a good phone book and the Calculator comes in handy

Cell phone hater here. Don't have one and don't want one...

My wife does have one though, but she doesn't use it too much. We bought the phone and use pay as you go through Virgin mobile. I think I've used it once.

03:00, pouring rain, hit a puddle at 45 mph and ripped the fuel pump. This was on a major industrial Blvd. that leads into LAX, fully choked by 06:00 with workers. Called AAA on the cell. Thank you.
Edit: Virgin mobile pay as you go, carry a calling card. I have to wear a pager so I leave the phone off and have them page me so I can phone back. I leave it in the truck, with a cigarette lighter charger. I don't take it with me unless its at an open air event like a stadium or junkyard, and for a long enough time to justify.
