i was walking to work ( only a mile or two) for a rare 7:00 start, and i see this nice chevy pass me and pull into a rental place up ahead, and drop some one off, as he turned i could see the truck and it was sweet, a nice crew cab, but wait, that box looked a little short and when he stoped i only saw 5 lug nuts.

hummm i am thinking i need to talk to this guy, I jump out in front of him and he pulls over, i shake his hand and tel him what a sweet truck hes got, asked him if he made it and yeah did it all himself, to make a nice dd family hauler/camping truck, mint inside and out. no rust or anything (rare up here)

what a great idea for a DD, wish i could have it.

I tell you he made my day, hope i made his:laugh:

I AM NOT SURE WHAT HE MADE INTO WHAT (oops caps on)

but it looked sweet, i told him i had seen some that people had done that cut the box down to make it really short but he dident want to wreck a nice box over something like 9 inchs.

so it was a crew cab short (6') box 2wd, srw looked really sharp, sorry no pic, i keep my cam in my truck but since work is so close i walk it.

if i see him again (unlikely because i strat eraly most of the time) i will ask where he lives so i can get a pic of it.
