Other's have said that wearing a nice shirt, tucked in and a clean haircut help with first impressions.

I think this outfit will work :haha::haha:

I dunno, Wichita KS is near the promised land for all hillbillies. I think you would get away with it... TRY... and let us know how it goes. I will pitch in a buck for the bail if the outcome of your social experiment is less than perfect.

Carrying of a loaded firearm, concealed without permit, or openly within city limits is illegal.

However, outside the city limits of Wichita and Topeka.... the only thing explicity stated in KS statute is carrying concealed without a permit.

Edit: and the area I live in is outside city limits.

If you Do try this, a couple of hints:

When the boys in blue show up, do EXACTLY what they say.
AFTER they feel in control, then you can have your say.
Arguing, instead of complying , COULD get you shot.

I am in NO WAY criticizing law enforcement officers, just trying to keep you out of a BAD situation.:D

If I did open carry, it would just be the revolver. Open carrying a longarm like that would be... silly.

While everyone else is expressing using caution, I say focking go for it!! When you do meet up with some law enforcement professionals, be sure to remind them that "you focking pay their salaries!" and that "you know your rights!!".

These are all bold statements that will endear you to the said law enforcement professionals, and in no time y'all will be drinkin' buddies.

Yeah and they pay my salary too!

Actually, I don't pay the local LEO salaries. I pay VA state taxes.

"Is that a shotgun in you pants or are you REALLY happy to see me":haha::haha:

During my security forces augmentee training, we were practicing searching restrained individuals. There was a guy in my group, about the same size as I, that managed to conceal an M-16 in his BDU's. There is no such thing as "too big to conceal" in my opinion. You try hard enough, you could conceal a howitzer.

I wouldn't do it here, but I've never lived in Wichita. Here we're about evenly mixed rural folks who hunt and fish and drive trucks and Boulder and California bossy ass opiniated hippies. One of those Subaru driving pricks with BOTH "Hate is not a family value" and "Buck Fush" bumper stickers would call you in and complain.
