and trying to checkout at the self checkout because they don't have any humans in that job position right now. The machine gets screwed up 3 times and then the credit scan part of it goes nuts after I swipe the card.

The "help" person with a surly attitude and smell to match is already mad at me because I needed help 3 times and she has burned aboot a twinkie walking the 40 feet between me and her. She trys to fix it by slapping it. Sensitive electronics like that. It dies.

I told the "helper" to clear the transaction which she does after 3 trys and then she asks what I want to do with the stuff it the basket. Being a diplomat, I tell her to shove them. She does not miss a beat and responds "you'll need a manager for that" and walks away. I love WalMart.

Wal-Mart bringeth the sucketh anymore, even around these parts. It's only good if you can go in and complete everything by yourself, well except the checkout and usually that goes pretty good.

They usually don't even have cute clerks these days:mad:

Fortunately, my local Target store hires little cute twenty somethings in skin tight tan pants and the red Target polo shirt. Then you go to Wal-Mart and they are 50 yr. old Filipino ladies 3 ft. tall and 3 ft. wide (disclaimer, they are very nice, even though I can't understand them). Wal-Mart is cheaper, but for some reason I tend to end up in Target......

the only walmart ive ever enjoyed was in washington utah, just outside of st george... and thats because they employ about 50 young (my age 18-24 ish) girls there... we stop by every time we're goin up to the property in southern utah.

Only Wal-Mart I ever liked was in Jacksonville, NC. Mighta had something to do with being staffed, for the most part, by Marines and/or their families...

We were looking for a particular product at various places on the web and I thought, "Well, maybe that ****-hole known as Wal Mart would have it." So I googled "Wally World" and wouldn't you know it, the first thing to come up was Wal Mart. Mildly humorous as it was, looking down a few hits, I found the site linked below. It is quite funny, though a bit long. Scroll down to "New Wally World Entries" and read away.
