Looks to be a Detroit to me. Double check that there are 4 holes around the carrier next to the ring gear.

Also appears to be a 4.56 and up carrier. CUCV axle?

Sorry for the hi-jack but just don't see why others got to keep calling the Gov-Lock in the 14FF's a "bomb". These units are good and strong and when taken care of, will work and perform correctly.
Only the 10 and 12 bolts with GL's should be called Gov-bombs as those definitely are weak. I've broken a 12 bolt GL once. The 14 GL should not be classified as a GB like these smaller axles.

They still break they just dont explode. I am sure we call all of them gov-bombs as a matter of conveinience (sp?). If they are so great why could I not give mine away when I went to a detroit?:dunno:
