Truck's put away for the winter. YUCK!!
This is when we upgrade or fix problems.

This year won't be too much for us.

    We're thinking of;

New tires- thinking of gettin a new set of 44" boggers ( unless I see something better) Just sold our old ones

    Rear disc brake conversion

    Beadlocks

Anyone else doing any mods to their trucks?

I am really impressed with the York on-board air compressor write up by Jeff Holsted on the front page.

I think this will be my next mod. Having air on the trail is not only convienent, but the confidence level must really be nice [IMG]

Other than that, a new carb is definitely in order (not really a mod though) and I would really like to replace my bumpers with some that have more clearence than the stock ones.

    Thomas.

It should have a new exhaust within the next month,

after that im working on the lift/shackle flip/tires

and then the front/rear shock mounts.

that should keep me busy(and my bank account drained) for most of the winter.

  6. The winter is the BEST time to have your truck out around here! But I guess it is also a good time to work on it now that we just came out of the 100's

rebuild, regear and put a 14boltFF
rebuild, regear and convert to 8 lug the 10bolt front
    New tires and wheels
    put a q-jet on
depends on how stuff goes, but the convertable conversion has been pushed back cause of the axles and wheels and tires. Talk about being broke! [IMG]
