The one i had my eye on went for $910 in Louisanna. Just too much to spend right now, even though that's a killer deal any way you look at it. Sucks not having any cash on hand.

How do you go about shipping it, just get it on a trailer? How much would it cost to have a shipping company ship it to me, I don't really have the means to haul a K30 half way across the country /forums/images/icons/frown.gif .

I was going to try to get the two that were in one lot in MS, but I looked yesterday and they were already up over $2000. I didn't bother looking again today.

Yep, those 2 over at the Biloxi base seemed to be in perfect condition. Last I saw, the price was something like $2600 for them. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

The 1 1/2 ton truck in Yuma ended at 1690.00. Did't have the cash for it after 10% sucharge 6-7% AZ Tax and then I still had to drive down to Yuma and pick it up. But I'll keep deaming of that D60.... someday.....someday.

    Thanks,
    Mike

The one that I was bidding on in Idaho went over $1400 so I gave up. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

I wouldn't say perfect, I know one of them was missing the motor/trans/xfer case. I think the other one was running though.

Prices got real high at the end. Best deal I saw was a D60 in a pallet in NC, went for 560 +10% surcharge +(IIRC)7% NC tax. Thats about $660, not a bad price but I had to stop about 600.

Where does someone find these brand new axles in crates? Are they listed up on the government sites like the trucks are?

A couple of months ago I found some in FL under the Misc. section on the GSA site. There were two D60's in the crates in one lot. I quit bidding at $2000. They went for around $2400 IIRC.

It wasn't new, it was perserved, though. Had the red/brown paint on the everything past the inner knuckles. It was listed as trailer tires. I went through and looked at everything in that auction that was east of the Mississippi River.
