What is the socket size for the yoke (slip and fixed, assuming they're the same) for the NP205 Tcase??? I'm assuming its around 2"s b/c my largest socket (1 7/8") won't fit. Thanks in advance

Hmmmm...on all the 205s I've done, as well as 203s and 241s, the nut size of the yoke is 1 5/16".

Hmm, that's wierd Ken. I'll check again tonight...you may be right though, b/c I'm not 100% sure about that socket size I stated, but I think it is around that size.
One thing I know for sure though is that nut on the yoke is huge! Thanks

I couldn't find a socket to fit the rear output on my NP205. My biggest socket was 1 7/8 and when I bought a bigger socket, the wall thickness was too much. It wouldn't fit over the nut and inside the yoke. Finally did what I could with a big cresent wrench stuck in there on an agle. Good so far, but I keep a close eye one it. The front output was slightly smaller and I had a socket for it. Can't remember the size now. This is on my '73 K5. Maybe they did some changes on later NP205s.
