I put a Fastback soft top onto my K-5 a while back.. since then it,'s collapsed numerous times because of rain. This is mainly due to the fact that the previous owner changed the tailgate on it. The tailgate probably had some sort of rail to keep the rear of the soft top on (the top is a skyler one, it uses velcro and rails that bolt onto where the hard top was). I recently found some pipes from a screen house that barely fit in the bed of the truck. They have to be centered in order to lay on the rails that the soft top is on. Is there any kind of snaps or anything I can use to keep these things where they are? I hate riding around with them loose in the back. They've already slid loose once during a rain storm, and the top collapsed. If I could somehow keep them centered, I bet they would work well. I have wood peices in the back which cover up the inside of the quarter panels. I was thinking of hammering nails or some kinda hooks which could keep them in place. Any suggestions?

    Dear Sir:

I believe that the top you have is made by Skyler. We do not make any parts
for their top. We do not sell tops directly to the public. We sell only
through our distributors who set their own prices. For this reason, I
cannot quote you a price. You can find a list of our distributors on our
web site @ http://www.kaylinetops.com. Most of our distributors do mail
order, so it is not necessary to find one near you.

Thank you for your interest, and I hope this helps.

    Sincerely,

Well, would snaps work to hold the rear down if I installed 'em? it's probably the only thing I can do.

It's all fun 'n games, till someone gets stuck.
