    Hey guys.. help me out.. I have gotten all my stuff to install my snap top I am worried about drilling.. any tips on how not to screw this up??thanks in advance. Den

    Measure twice,and drill once. Also use a center punch so the drill bit will not "wander" all over the place.

    I think Use Your Blinker just hit the center punch on the head, do exactly what he said, and you'll be fine!

    Cool.... about to go drill the first hole!!!! HERE WE GO!!!!
    Step 1 complete..... bows/brackets are mounted....now for the scary part..... drilling that perfect body.....update when that is done!

    use tape it will not mess up the paint as bad

    Whew.... Phase one complete....and a medical call too...LOL all the holes over the cab.......done... not as nervous now...still lots to drill on the side...but i have a new sharp bit for those.... will start that after supper....and what do ya do if the top leaks at the cab???

    Hey.....if you think drilling holes is bad.. What till you trim the fenders!

    Hey Man not exactly sure which top design you are using, but I can tell you this, It will almost definently leak at the cab. Put A bead of silicone between the cab and the track when you screw it on is my advice.

    YES!!!! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Project Soft Top is DONE!!! have a cpl of xtra hole from following directions and not doing what i thougth was right ...but they are on the very top and already filled with white silicone (white k5 so it matches) and about to go wash it!!! Is anyone else here a firefighter/ems type that has the luck to be able to do all this stuff at work like me????
