solid motor mounts

    any one use em? and what part # did you use for a later style clam shell mount?

    Wouldn't go there unless it's short use only rig. Like 100 yards or 1/4 mi. at a time. Will shake like a dawg sh*ttin peach seeds.
    Might talk to Scott @ Rockstomper about making some GM apps similar to his yoter engine mounts if he doesn't already make them.

    dont use them unless your plan to run all solid mounts(tranny/t-case,etc) or you'll crack the trans case or adapter. i would find some kind of fail-safe type mount or through bolt the current ones. /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

    R u just looking for something stronger than the stoke setup? When I put my BBC in, I am using the Energy Poly Inserst...You could always use the mounts that ORD sells...they are pretty beefy..
