I was finishing cleaning the Q-jet earlier, and I got random amounts of solvent on me. Mainly my left hand. Now it has a tingling/small burning sensation. What happened? :(

You're just a little sensitive to that chemical. The tingly feeling should go away after a few minutes.

It didn't go away for a couple hours. It's fine now.
Maybe I had a small cut

Solvents can be skin contact and skin absorption hazards.

Solvent defats the epidermis and allows for direct passage into the bloodstream. That being said, you should be fine considering the exposure. Next time use nitrile gloves.

So there is a chance a little solvent is in my blood right now?

What are nitrile gloves? Where can I get them?

Yes, a small amount probably got in, but your liver took care of it.

Nitrile are a type of "rubber" gloves. Get them at a Home Depot or whatever you Canuckians have.
