If you look close, You can see the winch cable that goes from the door piller up to the left. It goes to Matt's yellow Jeep (RedNeck Ram). It kept me from major body damage. That is Watson (Offroad Design) telling me to turn up. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is the start of the third obsticle. Thats Tobey riding with me.

Going over the second rock in the third obsticle. There was one point where the whole vehicle was sitting on the transfer case!

That second rock is a real pain. Above is Matt (RedNeck Ram) standing in the tire.

And the Final climb out of the waterfall

The sliders where bolted to the body mounts and they where shoved up and caused some damage. I recieved some slight quarter panel damage but nothing I cant fix. Dont know if I'll do it again next year. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    Awesome Pics.

I was wondering what the minimum requirements are to run upper hell? Tire size, gears, lockers, lift height, axles. Thanks

I would say serious Body Armor. If Matt didnt hook me around the narrow part, It would have been a way different story.

Lockers in both ends, Way low gearing, You have to have a winch. go with lots of good help. I wouldnt have gotten through without Matt and Watson and lots of other people there helping out.

I beat the hell out of the 4x4Iron bumpers and they held up great. And I mean I beat the hell out of them.

Ya, this year at Moab I want to run some hard stuff, but I think this is a little over the top for awhile. I would be affraid to see how the 10 bolt front would hold up. I think this will have to wait till more lift, more tire, and more armor are on for sure. We will see what happens this summer though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

    Matt-
How is that you got out of there with not too much body damage but when Tim ran Upper at BB02 with Matt Hodges, he managed to beat the living hell out of his sheet metal /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif ?!! Maybe you should tell Tim your secret.
    Those are awesome pictures! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Good to see some other K-5's going through Upper Hell.Man I wish I was with yall. When Tim and I ran last year we got a little body damage and had a fun time doing it. The part were Matt winched you is the part were all the damage happens so did you like how high you had to get up on that legde to just get through and the 18 ft. wall to get out was just way to cool. Glad yall had fun maybe we could all do it again together at a later time. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Being from relatively flat Kansas and having never been in rocks before I am in awe and my jaw is still lying on the ground. Awesome and what a sweet K5!
