Some th400 questions

    1. Is the inspection cover the same one a th400 as on the 700r4?
    2. Is the xmember the same on a th400/208 as on the 700r/208?
    3. were does the vacume line go on the intake?
    4. How hard is it to put in a shift kit?
    5. Witch shift kit should i get also should i go with a stage 2 or 3 shift kit?
    6. The 700r had a 4 prong plug on the drivers side the th400 only has a 1 prong what is it for?
    7.will the dipstick from the 700r work on the th400?

    Any help would be great

    1) No
    2) No, but maybe modified to work? Don't know much about 208s...
    3) Any manifold vacume.
    4) Not hard, they come with instructions. However, some minimal skill and tools are required.
    5) Depends on what you want, you just need to research the changes provided by each...
    6) 4 Prong on the 700 controls internal servos. TH400 is kick down actuated from switch on gas pedal.
    7) I'm almost certain the answer is no.
