Last weekend we didnt make it far for our trail run. The trailer with the two jeeps started swaying and needless to say took a ride. Moral of the story: Dont buy jeeps and if you do buy the biggest CHEVY you can to tow em with and make sure you have enough weight on the front of the trailer.

Looks like you guys were well over the max towing capacity for the truck too. That does not look like a light trailer...

Sucks, glad nobody was hurt though.

Wow that sucks! People trailer so there is no excitement on the way to the trail. Then something like this happens.

man, thats never a good ending to any ride, glad no one was hurt....I still have fears since my run around involving cars on trailers a few months back...

Its a scary thing... and one jeep may have been fine but 2 should be left to atleast a one ton dually

If you read the post you'll notice why it happened. It was fishtailing and the hit the tow vehicles brakes, so the trailer caught up and you saw the results. Gotta have that brake controller if you're that close to the tow vehicles limit, gonna be in some hilly terrain, or just towing most of the time. Not to mention using a bumper pull for ~12k. There are gooseneck trailers for a reason. These are problems before you even get into the loading of the trailer, which is obviously an unknow since the heeps were thrown off.

He was hitting the trailer brakes to try and stop the fishtailing. Once the jeeps started swaying the trailer began to tilt all the way up on to one side and then slammed back down and tiled up the other way until the jeeps got enough movement to break the straps.
