what is the difference between electric and manual. i have a quadrajet that i assume is not electric becuase i dont see any electrical wires in there. i want to get the manual kit with the little cable and nob so i can adjust it by hand. i have a keyless start and i need to be able to set the choke the night before so it will start in the morning when it is cold.
i think that manual requres pushing the gas pedal and maybe electric doesnt. is this right? i dont really know, just a guess really.
    thanks

    Re: quick question about chokes

Electric will have a wire running to the carb on the passenger side. Pumping the gas pedal on either choke design will "set" the choke for cold starting.
