I just got out of the shower and my skin is itching like im covered in miquito bites. We have a water softner, and I'm almost positive I don't have any soap left on me. This is all over my body...back stomach legs arms and thats about it...

WHATS WRONG? My skin can't be dry because of the water softner we have.

Sounds like hives. Benedryl is correct. Also you should get some 1% hydrocortisone cream and put it on the hives. it'll take the itch away. Cortizone cream available in drug stores, as is benedryl.

Calamine lotion can help too. Failing that, rubbing alcohol can take away itch and so can baking soda.

It went away in about an hour or so. It's not bothering me now. But it's weird...it was really itchy earlier. There must have been soap from the washing machine on my towel, I use no smell soap and have been using if for weeks.

Weird. Hopefully it doesn't happen again!!

I get that too sometimes , and in my case it happens if I have been working up a real bad sweat , like yardwork . I find I need to jump right in the shower . If I sit and drink and kinda dry off before I get in the shower . I itch afterwards :dunno: why

Dude, if you showered more than once a month, your skin would get used to it. I can smell you from here sometimes.
