    Hey folks,

My name is Marc, and Shaggy is my brother. Just wanted to give you guys an update and some corrections.

The trailer he's pulling is mine, he borrowed it for a trip. He blew one tire in Elko, NV yesterday, and used the spare then. He is about 40 miles from his destination right now with the second blown tire. He is at the Harley dealership mentioned.

This trailer only has like 2000 miles on it, so I have no idea why it's going through tires like toilet paper. I feel absolutely terrible that this happened.

Anyway, the tires are a G rated 235/85R16. They are about 31 inches tall, and the bolt pattern is standard 8 lug. The point here is that if anyone has a tire mounted on a rim that is even approximately close to this and can possibly get it to him to borrow, please call Shaggy! Even an e-range would get him to the tire store. I am going to pay to have all new tires put on so this doesn't happen again. Even if you just have the tire and could bring it out, he could have it mounted tomorrow morning then go look for the proper tires at local dealers.

If anyone can help and needs compensation for gas or anything, call me at 408/595-6127 and I'll paypal you.

A thousand thanks for any help.

    Marc

Just got off the phone with him, he's about 20 to 30 min North of me. Evan said he has everything taken care of but I gave him my cell number as a back-up. I have an 8 lug rim and tire just in case.

Hopefully he'll be okay tomorrow but if not he has my number.

I stopped by and checked on Evan in person this morning about 9AM.

He's got new tires coming about 2PM. The wife and kids are with her family now. He was just waiting for the Harley dealer to open so he could let them know what was going on. Didn't want them to try and tow it away.

Left my info in case he needed anything else.

I'm there every two years for family reunions, one of these years I hope to drag my junk out. I picked up a '74 K5 that's going into the garage for some choppy choppy pretty soon here.
