We all bash these companys when they screw up. I have to. I have bashed 4WPW before. I oredered my B&M Tranny cooler last Thursday night. When I got home monday it was setting at my door step. And I already put it in tonight... That was great service and they even sent me some cool stickers... The only complaint I had was that they advertised free UPS shipping and then they charged me $1.75 for rural shipping. I guess it is better then $8.00 for shipping. Just wanted to say something good about a company.........Dan

I'll second that. I ordered some wheels from them and they came the next morning. Shipping was $6.00 for all 5. My only complaint is that some of their phone sales people are pretty stupid... well the ones I've delt with. Along with my wheels I ordered some lug nuts. I told him they were for a 78 K20 Pickup, and they sent me the wrong ones. Just research the parts yourself. Other than that I was pleased with their service.

I ordered my 8 lug 15X8" rims from Summitt and had them in 3 days for $26.95 each and free shipping. I used them alot when we lived in Germany and have nothing bad to say about them.

I will never order from them again despite some good orders I had. It took me 5 weeks to get my 8 lug, 15" rims and I had to call the manufacturer to get them to ship them out.

I got the exact same wheels from Summit and it took almost 2 months to get them. The problem is Summit turns in orders for around 1000 wheels at a time from US Wheel and they only go to the wharehouse when the order is complete. Call Summit and tell them you need the wheels now and if they can have them drop shipped directly to you from US Wheel.

I just did the same thing. I orderd a B&M tranny cooler and some other stuff last wed night and got it fri morning.

Gokarter which one did you get? I got the 24,000# one to try and keep my tranny cool and not burn my truck to the ground again. BTW the tranny is still going strong and the only thing I have done to it is the cooler and new filter. Chevys rule!

I only have one bad thing to say about Summit it doesn't refer to 99.9% of the board. It is that their rep runs all over the NHRA, IHRA, and NMCA ranks talking to racers saying call our racer hotline for dicounts and such... and then you call and nobody has a clue what he is talking about LOL.

AJ... I'm a big Jeg's fan... Summit is really really good, but I have had some even better experiences w/ Jeg's. I mean when you blow something on a Saturday and need a part at your door by Wed. so you can get it installed by next Fridays qualifying... now that is when you seperate the men from the boys. Jeg's catalog is a bit tougher to find stuff in till you get used to it, but they are also a big quality operation. Also remeber they were founded on, for and by racers (which have the same drive and passions, as well as problems as many 4x4er's) They currently have 3 Coughlins racing.

The Summit in OHIO is about 45 minutes west from me...convenient as heck. I think they have a bit of trouble keeping good people working there. There's usually want ads in the paper for employees every other sunday. Just part of the problem of running a big operation, I guess.

    For what its worth,

Summit racing is the source for 90% of the items I purchase online. If they don't have it, I don't need it. Another thing to consider, they match prices. If I find it less somewhere they usually charge shipping. I call summit with the item I want, the people that have it for less & the number to them. They call, conferm and ship it. I've never had a problem and have bought things atleast 10 times from them problem free!

    I LOVE IT!

I have nothing but good things to say about Summit. Since i;m in california if its in stock in the Reno warehouse, i always have it the next morning. always. If its coming from the other warehouse, I usually have it in 2-3 depending on size. My MT Classic IIs were on my porch the next morning.
