    Cool song...

Last saturday night I heard it for the first time in years, because I tired of hearing the same 10 country artists played pepeatedly, and tuned into the "classic rock" station...it was like going back in time, they played "Stairway To Heaven," and many of the songs from my high school stoner days, like "Fly Like An Eagle",and Double Vision",and some Sabbath-("Iron Man" and "Paranoid!") ,and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon",and "Another Brick In The Wall"--! havent heard those songs in ages!.. .

Dolly Parton recently recorded "Stairway to Heaven" on one of her cd's! :eek1: --but even with her singing it,and hearing it for 25 years and ten zillion times,I STILL dont know what the hell the song "means"!--the lyrics dont make much sense to me... but then,a lot of things dont! :1zhelp:

I always interpreted it as the tale of a woman who thought she could buy her way to heaven, she felt money and possesions were all that mattered, instead of spirituality and all the things money can't buy. THats what I have always heard anyway :dunno:
