I just bolted on my Avalanche steering arm (D60 Passenger side for TRE). After tightening it down (of course) I realized that the aluminum spacer (used to take up the extra 1" of slack for the spring when the arm is added to the stack) might go above the spring instead of under (where I put it). It didn't even occur to me that it might fit up in the cup with the spring below. Now I'm thinking that the spacer might bottom on the kink pin rather than keeping the bushing tight as it wears.

Anyone know for sure how this thing goes in there? If not, I'll call Avalanche Monday to make sure I'm not SOL again. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
