I was wondering...I've heard a few people mention in various posts..something about increasing the gap from .035 to .045. What exactly does this do, and would it do any engine damage by doing it?? Thanks in advance.

I had always gapped my plugs at .045, but last weekend I was replacin the plugs and noticed that the little sticker on the air cleaner cover specified .060. So thats what my plugs got this time. I'm pretty sure no damge will result...Just perrformance gains/losses. I might have gained alittle bit from this....Not much if any though.
