I noticed these at the performance section in Cherker's today, they come with different sized washers to get the spark plug lined up in the optimum position, anybody use them /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

its called indexing your spark plugs. alot of racers do this to direct the spark to get it to fire more effectively.

When a tenth of a second can be the difference between winning or losing a race, then they're worth the trouble. The concept is to position each spark plug in its chamber so that the side electrode doesn't block the incoming air/fuel mixture from reaching the spark as quickly. I've never bothered on a daily driver.
