me and bottomfeeder were kicking around a idea of how to get out there
renting a flat bed and towing all the rigs out there
the more we can fit the cheaper it would cost

    any ideas on this?
really want to go to BB

When? You would be coming through my neck 'o the woods, but you will prolly be fully loaded at that point.
I think that only 3 rigs would fit at the very most,4.

I really should wait another year, but if the chance comes this year......what the heck,Id try & go.

What about a semi with a flatbed, or a carhauler? I'm interested. I have heard that the truckdriving schools use their students to do long hauls for seat time, at reduced rates. Anyone heard the same?

I like the idea of the other thread with the renting of a motor home. Reality sets in though...

I had my 77 trailered out to OK with my Galaxie and it was 550.00 each one way. If we could schedule a car hauler out there to take multiple rigs at once it could be fairly cheap. Those car haulers can carry at least 8 rigs. we might have to let the air out of the tires to get them on but it could work. Maybe we could do like the monster trucks and put a set of tiny wheels on the rigs prior to transport, otherwise some of the plat bed trailers can carry 3 vehicles. does anybody have a decent tow rig?

Even with little tires, there is no way my rig would fit in the bottom deck of one of those "car" transports. I think alot of trucks would have the same problem.

Yeah, I just looked at one today... So, at best we can get to on a flatbed truck and one on a trailer behind the truck. Does this sound doable?

If I can get the 78 ready in time I'd be up for it. Would beat destroying the 700R4 in the 89 towing it out there :)
