Just figure out how far its off, and change the speedo gear in the t-case. The one I bought for my Dodge was $12 from the dealer, I think the GM ones are even cheaper.

Is your speedo electonic, or manual. I have an eletronic one and you have to change the DRAC. (I don't remember what that stands for) It cost me around $100 at the dealer. If you do have one, it is a little white box mounted under your radio. Just order the new one and unplug the wires and plug in the new one.

Do they offer the DRAC in different ratios?? How do you figure out the one you need?

Why do people keep calling it a Bronco!!!!! [IMG]

You need to measure the circumference of your tire and know the gear ratio. They do the rest.

lol, personally, I'd rather spend that cash on a real upgrade to my rig, not fixing the speedo. Mine has been "off" ever since I originially lifted/regeared my 85...and its really not that big a deal. As far as I know it reads about 5-7 mph fast at freeway speeds. Oh well!! =p

Yeah, but it sure is nice to have it honed in for estimating fuel milage and is also good to have accurate miles on the odometer for re-sell should you ever need or want to sell it.

I did mine because it was so far off it was messing with my fuel injection and anti-lock brakes. Otherwise I would have never fixed it.

<font color=blue>I dont really want to know my MPG, but I'm going to TPI so I need it correct for the vehicle speed sensor. I think my speedometer is about 5 mph too fast. How many teeth does my new gear have to be (31s and 3.07s were stock, 36s and 4.10s are on it now)?
