spedo recal with larger tires (96 k3500)

    well, i need to step the tires up a few sizes tall wise.
    so when i do it how do i recalibrate the spedo? or can the tire shop do it? i know its an electronic spedo... but i dunno how to do it....

    THATS AWESOME!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I just figured there wasnt a good way to get it accurate, over 34"tires.

    Can't get to the link, but there was a post on one of the other forums where someone took the DRAC, and with a DIP switch setup from radio shack, made re-soldering if you change tire sizes, unnecessary. Very cool.

    What year did the speedo become electronic? I've got a '94 2wd that needs a rear end rebuild and one of the factors in changing gear ratios is speedo and odometer recalibration.

    Can't remember for sure right now. It was either '90 or '91, so your '94 is electronic.
