Does antone know how to change the speedo drive gear in a NP203 t-case? Do I just undo the cable and pull the gear out or do I have to take the tail end off the t-case to do this? Is this all I have to change to correct my speedo? Also, where do I get a new one?

On the 205, you take the speedo cable off and take of the nut that retains the speedo gear, then the entire deal slide out...I think it is the same on a 208....you can also get a gear box to correct the speed and change the gears internally on that...Also, on the 205, the retaining nut for the speedo gear acts as its outer bearing (or bushing?)...Easy stuff though...

I would ASSUME that the 203 has a similar system...not sure though...the only 203 I have I have NEVER messed with and it is in a project truck in the garage...I will check it out when I get a chance...

you can get a gear with less teeth at the dealer but it wont work im not sure how you change it to make the correction for your speedo i think you have to ghange the gear that the speedo gear runs on also
