Does anybody know anything about this tranny? I saw it listed on the Boyce Eq. web site. They list it as an overdrive tranny with the following gears:

    first 6.00:1
    second 3.31:1
    third 1.89:1
    fouth 1.00:1
    fifth .85:1

They also state that it is fully syncro-ed, and that it holds the land speed record for one ton range.

Does anyone know what this will or won't bolt up too, or where I could find Info or spec/dimensions on it? It sounds like an inexpensive way to get overdrive. I'd like to replace my sm465 with one if it wouldn't be too involved or expensive in the way of adaptors and such. Although I don't see any listed for it in AA's catalog. Thanks for any info.

I would call boyce and find out. Never heard of this before. Also being from boyce dont expect it to be real inexpensive. I like the 6.00 first gear along with .85 overdrive though. I would just go with a 700r4 or 480LE for overdrive.

Thats what I would think as well. However Boyce lists it for $795. As far as the 700r4 or 480le go, I want to stick with a manual for know. I just finished converting my truck from an auto to a manual, I can't see going back know.
