Splines on a 700r4

    Hey i have a stock 700r4 transmission that went bad and the place that i am having to buy my new one needs to know how many splines are on the trani, tcase, basicly the drive line.
    i have a 1987 chevy blazer 350ci wih 700r4 ? how many splines

    The 700R-4 and the TH350 are 27 spline.

    Are you shure its not the torque convertor they need the spline count for?
    700r4s came in two torque convertor spline counts.
    27 spline which came on smaller vehicles like S-10s.
    And
    30 spline which came on almost all full size trucks.(except some early models. After 84 I think they were all 30 spline.)
    Thats the main difference in 700r4s

    I think the output spline count is the same in all of them
