spools , help

    i was thinking about putting a spool in my 12 bolt but i haven't heard or read any pros or cons on them also what is the difference between a full spool and a mini spool
    thanks for any help

    Spools are mainly good for going in a straight line. Forget about street driving with a spool. The pros are that they're really cheap and they always work. I'd spend the extra money and go for a detroit style locker. Then again, open diffs work great a lot of the time, so it really depends on what you do with your truck.

    They are great for Drag strips, cause they dont turn. I've had one now I havea detroit. I had some serious wear problems in the rear. my .02
