Spring eye torque

    How tight is everyone tightening the bolts at the spring eyes on their trucks? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

    Mine are all at least 70 ft*lb but I think the spec for regular bolts is around 50 ft*lb.

    /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifOk on a 1985 k5 it calls for front eye bolt 90ft lbs and rear eye bolt at 50 ft lbs. I got this info from a system called mitchell in demand from tec school cause i am going to be replace my diffs and put a 4 in lift on mine so as far as i know this is what the factory spec calls for. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
