I have a '70 Chevy D60 rear waiting to replace the 10-bolt in my Jimmy. Trouble is, I dont have the spring plates for the axle. Local suspension shop sez they can make the U-bolts, but no idea on the spring plates, probably dealer item. First try with dealer was unproductive. Does anybody have an idea where I might be able to get spring plates?

Isn't it stamped steel to resist bend/flex?

I replaced my 12 bolt with a 60 not too long ago.....out went the 2peice 12bolt (nice broken diff housing) and in went the 60, same u-bolts, same plates, everything.
