my buddy said he could get a 2 1/2 inch lift with new springs all around, but it was $1000 for 4 springs and the bushings, and i thought that was way to high????

    It needs a bigger motor.

Springs for an 87 should be identical to the 89...HTH

no i have not gone to the yards yet, my thought was that my springs are sagging slightly and i wanted new with the bushings, and the ussed springs wouldnt be any better off than mine

    It needs a bigger motor.

If your just trying to get it to sit level get Stephen at ORD to sell you some short blocks. I think he has some 1 inchers. then put some Poly bushings in it and your set. Probely get what your looking for for around $100 if you don't have to replace the U-Bolts.
Make sure the truck is sagging. K5's look tail low because of the body lines. The truck tapers down front to rear. on a flat peice of ground measure to the bottom of the rockers. Thats will give you a true reading as to level or not. Most people feel they look better with the rear 1-2 inches higher than the front.

Women dig dents and flat paint!
