will front springs from a 83 chevy pickup fit on my 72 blazer? if so, could I re-arch them for about a 2 inch lift? any input would be appreciated.
    thanks

I asked a similar quesiton a while ago. The consensus was that the springs would fit, but they would move the location of your front axle, so it is not advisable to use them.

I put front springs from a '76 on my blazer and they fit, but the change in axle location really messed up the steering characteristics. I had to remove them. I would not recommend it unless you move your spring perches.
