a snake is the easest thing to skin. Take meat scissors, cut straite up the gut, grab the inards and pull it right out. Grab the skin and start working it back until you get enough to grab onto and rip it off. Flour, seasoning, and into the frying pan. Where's the Mac and Cheese????????????? Dangit, I'm out! "Honey, I'm going to the store!!!!"

It sounds pretty good when you put it like that. It seems like I've been seeing more of them lately when I'm out and about in the brush. Maybe I'll eat the next one I run across.

Now for the thruth. I have only came across one and yes I did just like I said above. I see mainly copper heads around me. (We killed over 20 last year between my inlaws and myself) My uncle use to go up around Decatur and Round them Up with the Jc's and have a big cook out every year. He raised a couple for a while and then killed them and had them stuffed like they were fighting each other. Other than that, cotton mouths and bull snakes!

Last time I went wheelin up in Alto, there was a couple of guy's with our group that ran out of beer at about 10 pm ,,,being that Alto is a "dry" county the closest beer that they knew of was at their hunting trailer a few miles away.

they returned half hour later with a few 12 packs and a dead 6 ft rattler !!!

when they got to the bunk house and opened up the door,,( mind you,, it's 10 pm and pitch black,,) they heard the rattles....these crazy bastages grabbed a flashlight and a piece of pipe out of the bed of the truck and went into the trailer, chased down and bashed the *hit out of the snake, grabbed the beer and came back to camp....

the things people will do for a beer !!!:haha: :haha: :haha:
