i hadnt driven my blazer in about a week, but the other morning i go out, get in the rig, fire her up, etc. everythings normal. i get down our long driveway, and hit the brakes before i get to the street, and she dies. i figured that since it was 40 degrees, she was just being cold-natured. but today, 65 degrees, she still does the same thing. seems to idle normally, but everytime i get going, whether it be 20 mph or 2 mph, when i hit the brakes, it just dies.

    any suggestions? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

maybe i should mention this as well...

i took out the fuel filter from the carb, and there were a few droplets of water on the filter and inside the housing.

is this the source of the trouble? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

KI would *suspect* if water was an issue, driveability as a whole would suck.

TCC can cause a problem, unlikely if going as slow as you say, but disconnecting the TCC plug and testing can answer that very quickly.

EGR is another that could be an issue, if present.
