I run a manual with a doubler and boy oh boy will it get down and crawl, but just had a turbo 400 fall in my lap and it has got me thinking. For the mud I would never ever give up my stick. Too many times me and friends have locked up our starters by getting them full of mud. Me and my manual could roll start, poor auto boys were walking home

I thought I was wrong once,
    but I was mistaken

I feel very lucky to have the SM465/NP205 combo. Here in Kansas, 99% of the K5's I've looked at are auto. I wouldn't trade my manual for anything.

My '85 K30 has a 454 and TH400 with a NP205. Mainly for the wife to be able to drive. [IMG]

My other K30, the '82 from Shawn, will get a 454 from Rocko and it already has the standard 465 with a NP205 all there. Just what I wanted for a play truck!! [IMG]

Anybody planning on checking out my homepage, forget it, I am still working on it!!!

Have a turbo 350 in my Blazer, have a 400/203 in my parts truck, also have a 700 in the garage. Still I long for a manual!

    Running a 700 R4...

Miss my old '88 with the SM465...

Have access to a dozen 350's and a couple 400's, but would still miss my old 465.

I've got the th350. What I've been wondering is which one is better for say everyday driving and just playing on the weekends? Just curious to know what the preference is.
