Anyone else drink this nasty, overpriced, addictive, thinned-out used motor oil?

After a week of vacation, I can't believe my sheer lack of will...I caved and bought a half-decaf this morning and am sitting here in self-revulsion as I drink it.

Never heard of that one. I wont drink coffee from any of the chain coffee houses cause they put all sorts of crap on their beans to cover the taste of the low grade beans that they buy in bulk. The only coffee that I drink is from a local company that is [flame suit on] organic so it taste like coffee should. To Me it's like range fed beef as compared to commercial grade beef.

The missus drinks that swill every day. I prefer whole bean from a reputable source and then grind it myself. Seattle's Best was ok, but I heard Starbucks bought them out.

Starbucks can KISS MY ASS at 4 bucks for a cup of coffee... and if I ever have to order anything in vente and grande I will just shoot somebody... the sizes are SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE...
I will stick to my Folgers at about 8 cents a cup.

Whats the use of drinking coffee if there's no caffine in it? Course my body is so immune to caffine that it doesn't seem to work on my anymore...I wouldn't think the 6 or so pots of coffee I drink a day has anything to do with it /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

It has half the caffeine, the full strength stuff is nasty and gave me some major chest tightness and intense heartburn. The half-decaf does also sometimes.

This morning I'm enjoying my 70 cent corner deli "Small", $1 less than a starbucks of comparable size. Starbucks is really addictive, no joke. I was drinking one a workday for a while til I realized that's $230 a year I could use to buy a cheesy stock or put in a kids' college fund (still have to use $1 a day on cheaper coffee). Now I'm down to one or two a week... $50 a year is a *little* better, but still sucks when you realize it was for something you can't figure out how you actually enjoy... Actually, I should admit, the starbucks *might* taste a little better than this dirty deli stuff.

    That's it? I was having a grande soy mocha every day at $4 a pop. That's $120/month or about a D60/year plus change./forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Lol. You know, I used to buy a lot of coffee- Then I realized, holy crap, I must easily spend over 500 bucks a year on coffee. So now I just brew it myself and toss it in a thermos. Good for the day. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
