Will a starshifter and a bench seat work, or will it be too far away from you to use it in ratchet mode without bending way down? I've got a K20 and I want one... the only trucks that I've ever seen them in all have buckets so I don't know if it will work. I did some searching, but I have still not found anybody with one and a bench. Thanks for any help...

I can't speak for the starshifter, other than to say it looks like it will be a stretch. I have the light truck megashifter and highly recommend it.

StarShifter is just a type of ratchet shifter made by B&M, basically the same as the megashifter that is shown in the pic above. It lets you put the tranny in normal detent mode where it will shift by itself, or you can pull it back and slap it into each gear by yourself...

Oh by the way, chosen 1... where at in MI are you?
