    Decided after hanging up on everything that I needed to something different, tell me whatcha think!!!

    Before: with modified sliders.:::

    Cut out the slider, raw plate 3/8 x 6"

    Door cut and plate tacked in place:

    Still is not finished but I think it will look good by the time I am done, plus I gained 6" width and 3" clearance /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    could loose the doors all together and just run a tube bar across so nothing comes in through the door hole. That will narrow the truck a good bit. I noticed as such when Iw as working on my K5 when it had the body still. Just go those little steps and make it an all out buggy.

    I am looking into a similar set up. How did you keep your lower door hinges? How much did you trim off of the doors? Looks good BTW.

    I was thinking about that, but I have to keep some kind of a door since I have to store it outside /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

    The lower door hinge is still in the stock location with the plate being 1/8" below it, I cut 7" off of the bottom of the door and the glass still rolls down all the way.
