I have a nice story too about crappy products, and not wanting to stand behind there product. I bought a $259 power steering box through Schucks. The first one lasted six months then started spitting fluid and wouldn't work, the second lasted a year and just plain broke. The third lasted a month and started spittin out fluid too. I took it back and said to hell with this give me my money back, your products are [censored], and I don't want anymore of your garbage. The guy who was doing the transaction was great about it, its when he went to the manager for a signature where the fun began. He basically told me I was stupid and that they wouldn't give me my money back, theyd give me another junker but no money. After being insulted and coming unglued and about pulling him over the counter, they still wouldn't give me my money back. A buddy of mine who is about 60 said give me the receipt and the box, he went in to Schucks main plant here in Spokane, WA, sat down on a stool and told them, heres the box, heres the receipt, shitty product, don't want no more, I'll be here. Two managers and four hours later he got my money back. What ass holes. Never again, I am a dedicated Parts Plus, of Rathdrum, Id fan.. Course, Im just bitchin

Never been stuck, just temporarily delayed.

Sometimes you get a bad part or a good part. With any product its pretty much a gamble. You never know if you will get a defected part or not.

They must be friends with the Schucks (aka Sucks) in CDA (off 95)... that one the guys in there need to be beaten... I took back stuff to them a few times that broke and they were awful! That parts place in Rathdrum rocks! Is that the one by the IGA? I would go in there and they knew their stuff! I worked up at the Twinlow camp in 99.... very nice area you have there! [IMG]

I am on my third shucks box. The first one, the pitman shaft would drop about 3/4 in. when i turned the wheel. The second one just exploded part out of the front in my dirveway. At least I was not on the trail. Now my third box is acting funny. I am going to do a crossover kit really soon anyway, so I will use it for now.

OK, am I missing something here? Why is the title about a starter but the story is about a steering box? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
