any recommendations as to which starter to get. I am running a 350 with a SM465 tranny.
I already answered the other time you asked. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
LOL /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif , yea but there aint no mud here, it doesn't even rain here. there's just a bunch of hot dirt and sand.
you can have the one out of the white truck if ya want /forums/images/icons/smile.gif trade for the 203 /forums/images/icons/wink.gif hehe - Andy
I've got a Tilton mini starter on my truck, I got it used but in excellent shape. Knock on wood, it has been flawless and I haven't been nice to it - lots of mud around here!
I worked in parts for 15 years, starters and alternators absolutely fall into the "get what you pay for" catagory. I'm not saying you have to buy an expensive mini starter to get something good, but IMO you should at least buy an AC Delco reman unit.
In car magizines I have seen those hi tq starters are they any good?
that's what i was getting to, was looking at some on summit.
