I like mud! My starter does not, i have an auto so i can't bump it when it goes (correct me if wrong), so short of haveing a spare, is there anything i can do to keep from frying one?

Not too much you can do except maybe get one of these. It might keep most of the mud out. At the very least it looks /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I ran one of those. It will help with heat, but not with mud. It will act like a shovel and keep mud packed up against the starter.
