I'm looking for a steel 2"cowl induction hood but it has to be STEEL and I know I have seen them for just under $300 but I can't remember where. Does anybody know where I can get one at a decent price, I don't really want to put out no 400 on a hood? And wood rather stay with stock springs and latch. I looked at carhoods.com they want little over $350, any suggestions????

    Thanks, (in advance)

Check out these guys: Goodmark Industries. I think they will have what you are after.

I seriously doubt you will find one new for under $400. If you do then you are lucky... all I have seen are $400 and up. Plus then you have to pay shipping unless it's local. Good luck.

My hood is the same as Goodmark sells but it was 405 after tax with no shipping. It is a very nice well made. was a bit liter than the stock one but that not a bad thing.

Does anyone remember seeing a company that sold steel cowl scoops. I would like to get a 4 in. for mine. And yes I know it would need to be welded down and smoothed in. After 13 yrs as a bodyman I think I can handle it. LOL! [IMG]

I get all the exercise I need pushing my luck! [IMG]
