steer box adjustment .95 CHEVY ASTRO VAN AWD

    I need help locating the adjustment screw (if any) Is there a way to take play out of these boxes???? 95 CHEVY ASTROVAN. AWD 4.3

    top of the box there is a plate with 4 bolt and a stud with a nut on it in the middle. using an allen wrench hold the stud and back off the nut with a 5/8" wrench a little. Now using the allen tighten the stud a 1/4 turn and then tighten the nut back down. Keep doing this untill the slack is gone. If your box gets to the pouint that you feel a tight spot in the or near the center of your steering arch then you need to back it off until the tightness is just barely gone.

    I looked at the box on my k-5 and the one on the astro is different .it is mounted straight up and I cant see the adjustment screw .Is this the same type of steering box as our k-5s? any help is greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
