steering adjustment question

    ok, so i put the new tilt steering column in my truck...but now with the wheels straight the steering wheel is liek half turned...how do i ge it to center right? do i have to adjust something on the steering box?

    Adjust the "draglink" between the box, and the steering arm on the axle. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

    <font color="green"> If you can steer lock to lock right now (that is, you can turn all the way left and right), then you ust need to pull the steering wheel off and reclock it. I guess some of the later columns have indexed splines, if that's the case for your truck then you will need to adjust it with the drag link. </font>
