Sorry folks, but I’m back to my steering issues. Once again I had the front end of my '91 on jack stands. Before attempting to adjust the steering box, I need to ask about the steering/tie rods. I get no play when I move the rods back & forth or up & down, but when I twist the rods the ends have noticeable play. Is that normal?

Yes, the twisting of the tierod is normal. There is kinda a ball in there is rides on so this shouldnt be a problem.
