My steering box went out and I'm going to go and buy a new one. I want to do a cross over steering conversion some day. Can I get a 2wd box that will work with my stock set up now and work for a cross over later? I have a 1978 2wd box out of a 3/4 ton pick up but the hoses and the pitman arm are different than the one in my 1990 3/4 ton Sub. Can I buy a box for a newer 2wd truck with the correct hose fittings and use a different (ford) pitman arm? I was looking at the one in the product reviews section.
    Thanks

Richard, If you need a stock 4WD box for now, I've got a few spares, come and get one...I'm in Anaheim Hills.
