After reading many posts about cracking the frame around the steering box, I decided to check mine out. There doesn't seem to be any cracks on the frame, but the fluid resivour frame on the engine has cracked a couple of times. Would it be due to strain since put 35's on. I wasn't aware of the aftermarket brace. Anuy comments.

If it's the bracket that holds the resivoir to the engine that's cracking maybe your belt is too tight. As far as the frame cracking I would put the brace in before the frame cracks. It's less trouble in the long run. Some friends and I have installed them and everyone has the same opinion. It helps, even on the pavement. Good luck.
